Meet Me

Greetings and Welcome New Friends,

I hope we have the opportunity to get to know each other and become good neighbors in the days ahead.   If you are a blogger, I hope you will leave a comment with your blog or website address, so I can drop in at your place and get to know more about you.

My name is Connie Wayne, a grandmother and hope enthusiast.  I am a spiritual person who loves talking and writing about hope and other positive subjects.

In addition to earlier work in pastoral ministry, I also worked in social service agencies, which provided services for people abused by violence, people living in poverty, and homeless people.

I have firsthand experience working with some of those who need hope the most.  That is why I  am now an Internet author and an enthusiast, catalyst, and visionary for hope at A Hope for Today.

I hope you stay awhile and read some of my posts.  I also hope that you will “Like” the posts and be willing to share your own thoughts about what I write in the What Do You Think Section below each post.  If you like my site, I hope you will send your friends, families, and neighbors over to visit.

Thanks for stopping by,

Blessings,

Connie

Thanks Exploring Kindness. The name of your blog and the fact that you like reading what I write tells me that you are a person who should be nominated for the new award I created called the Hope Unites Globally HUG Award. Please consider yourself nominated. You can read more about the award in a recent post on my site called HUG Award Guidelines. If you accept the award, please let me know, and then, using the Guidelines, please feel free to share with others you think deserve to receive it. Blessings, Connie

No better person to talk about hope other than a grandmother. My grandmother used to be the most positive person irrespective of the adversity. I look forward to more post especially your experiences over the years on the subject of hope.

    • Connie Wayne says:

Thank you so much for the kind compliment. I hope I can live up to it. Yes, I have had some experience with some folks who were almost at the point of despair. I found that sometimes all it took was one small ray or spark of hope to keep them going, and that is my purpose for A Hope for Today…just keeping hope alive for those who may need it the most. Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting. Blessings, Connie

Jackie, Since this comment is on my “Meet Me” page, are you wanting to share about me? about A Hope for Today? or about the Hope Unites Globally HUG Award I created? It really doesn’t matter, just share away…… you will be sharing hope no matter what. Blessings, Connie
