A Hope That Ripples

The following is a wonderful “hope” quotation by Robert Kennedy.  It is about ripples of hope and how they can build into a current to sweep down mighty walls:

“Each time a man stands up for an ideal,

or  acts to improve the lot of others,

or strikes out against injustice,

he  sends forth a tiny ripple of hope,

and those ripples build a current

which can sweep down

the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”

Please watch and listen to the following, beautiful video about the Ripple Effect.  The Ripple Effect is rooted in the belief that we are all connected by our shared Humanity.

If you enjoy the video, please send or share this article as a Thank You to those who are creating a ripple effect with their lives, words, art, music, work, and humanitarian and volunteer efforts.  They are helping to change our world one ripple at a time!!

There was much Truth in that Clip Connie but what we first need to have is the right focus or the ripples we send out will not be uplifting no matter how sweet they may seem, Saccharine is sweet but leaves a bitter after taste and so does worldly fleshy thinking and actions.

Our focus needs to be on The God of the Bible, our Creator and Heavenly Father and in Jesus Christ as part of The Trinity or as They were called in the Scriptures The Godhead and we are to follow His guidelines not man’s based on their own understanding or agenda. Sometimes correction and rebuke given in Love is more beneficial and uplifting then a pat on the back, ripples only impact for good when the thoughts that motivated them are based on God’s Truth and without His wisdom they are shallow and self centered and cause waves of error and unrest.

    Christian Love Anne.

I am glad that God is a God of diversity. He loves different colors, patterns, and designs, and no two things he created are the same. Not all people are the same, nor do they have the same beliefs or ministries. I appreciate and value the ministry and beliefs you have, and I thank you for your comment and opinion. Blessings, Connie

Love the Bobby Kennedy quote. It is one of the quotes my relatives reminded me of on a regular basis–and many of my teachers said it too. It became a part of me early on…..I even think of it when I am by a lake or a river and I am skipping stones (or by the ocean and skipping shells). Lovely.

Sounds like you are a real nature enthusiast. So am I. I love it all: the water, trees, grass, sun, stars, moon, animals, smells and aromas, and on and on. Shells are some of my favorite household accoutrements. I would rather have them than any store-bought decoration. Connie
